The Antonovich Trail Dusters Ride began in 1992, and its popularity led to it being scheduled as a twice-yearly event. A central purpose of the ride is to promote public awareness of the vast, multiple-use trails system throughout the County of Los Angeles — which includes connections with other municipal trail systems that are available for the enjoyment of outdoor enthusiasts.
The event is sponsored by Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich and the Department of Parks and Recreation, in conjunction with ETI Corral 22, ETI Corral 138, North County Mounted Assistance Unit, and Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Mounted Unit.
