Snow Days at the LA Zoo!

Wild winter fun includes snow, sledding, and frosty treats for animals!

Saturday, February 22 and Sunday, February 23, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. 

 

Grab your mittens and scarves – snow is in the forecast for the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens! On Saturday, Feb. 22 and Sunday, Feb. 23, the L.A. Zoo will be transformed into a winter wonderland as part its annual “Snow Days” celebration. The frosty festivities include a snow-covered sledding hill and play area, and Disney’s “Frozen”-themed arts and crafts.

 

And kids won’t be the only ones enjoying the novel delight of snow in Los Angeles! The Zoo’s Sumatran Tiger and America Black Bear will have their own snowscapes for frolicking and specially-made snowmen for play.

 

 

WHAT: The L.A. Zoo’s annual “Snow Days,” with frolicking, sledding, and wonderful winter fun for kids and animals alike.

 

 

WHEN:  Saturday, Feb. 22 and Sunday, Feb. 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Zoo closes at 5 p.m.

 

 

WHERE:  Los Angeles Zoo, 5333 Zoo Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90027

 

 

COST:  All “Snow Day” activities are free with Zoo admission or GLAZA membership. 

 

Zoo admission is $18 for adults; $13 for children 2-12; $15 for seniors 62 and up. 
Admission is free for GLAZA members and children under two. 
Free parking available.
