Music lovers will have plenty to sing about when they visit the newly refurbished Forum, which has undergone a $100 million dollar makeover.
Madison Square Garden Entertainment bought the Inglewood arena for $23.5 million and has already booked art and musical acts for the coming months.
Sting, Paul Simon, Justin Timberlake and DJ Armin Van Buuren have already signed on to perform concerts. The Eagles just completed their concerts to enthusiastic crowds.
As for the Forum itself, there’s been an upgrade—the exterior has been painted red with white columns and the plastic sports arena seats have been replaced with plush red theater seats. No need to miss part of the concert when you go to the concession stand—the Forum has installed tinted glass windows that will allow you not to miss the action.
There’s also the 4,000 square foot Caesars Palace Club, a swanky restaurant that will be serving up delectable fare.
Artists who perform at the Forum will be able to relax between sets in the brand new lounge, which boasts video games, a gold simulator and billiards.
The Forum Club has been upgraded for VIPS with private entrances.
MSG has guaranteed the city of Inglewood at least $675,000 a year in revenue from parking, ticket and concession taxes.
