LA Fashion Week: LI JON Review

Here at “The Dia Diaries”, we are in full support of upcoming designers, especially ones who break down fashion constraints and norms. House of LI JON did just that. LI JON’s entire collection was made out of chain. Yes, that’s right, sculpted couture! The designer, Lia Mira unleashed her creativity beyond what is considered ready to wear. She took a leap of faith on her design aesthetic to bring sportswear to life with metal chain. We were hooked! Tops, shorts, skirts and dresses gleamed down the runway. A LI JON outfit is considered a statement piece, in all its entirety.

The obvious trend here was metal and metallic. A lot of gold and silver chain was used to create a pattern and then created into a garment. It shined and sparkled with every step the model took. Needless to say, any woman wearing LI JON would stop traffic with just a simple glance.

In terms of cuts and styles there were several individual pieces. There were halters tops, v-neck tops, shorts and circle skirts. As we witnessed different looks go down the runway, we were immediately drawn to the fact that these pieces were so daring.

For anyone in the market for a one of a kind statement go-to, LI JON is your brand.  Lia Mira has a great eye for design with the ability to create a jaw dropping reaction.
