complete in early June.

A limited run of six performances will be presented August 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 9
th, 10th and 11th at the church – 6633 Beach Boulevard, Buena Park, CA.

“In the 75 years since Thornton Wilder's *OUR TOWN* was first produced, it
would not be unreasonable to posit that the world has changed more than in
the 750 years prior,” Kupper noted, “yet the themes of this quintessential
American play—despite its narrow focus on the residents of “Grover’s
Corners” New Hampshire around the turn of the century—remain as universal
and timeless as ever. With this special 75th anniversary production, we
hope our audience members will look up from their text messages and Twitter
feeds for just a moment and be reminded of the life “too wonderful for
anybody to realize” that is too often passing them by. With Wilder's
beautifully drawn characters and the delightful addition of traditional
American music, we are confident that a 2013 audience can hear the message
just as clearly as that first audience did on January 22nd, 1938.”

*The Performing Arts Society of Southern California (PASSCAL) is an
