Award winning Rogue Machine launches “Off The Clock” 2013
with the WEST COAST PREMIERE of
I AM NOT MARK TWAIN
by Steven Craigg
8pm Wednesdays and Thursdays through August 29, 2013
Los Angeles, CA – On the heels of their recent BEST PRODUCTION Awards sweep (Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle, LA Weekly, Ovation, and Garland Awards) for Small Engine Repair, which launched Rogue Machine’s “Off The Clock” series that season, I Am Not Mark Twain will open in RMT’s “edgier theatre” slot on August 7th.
Steven Cragg’s HBO Aspen Comedy Festival winning one-man show is the story of a man’s cross-country trip to have sex with an ex-girlfriend. Funny, poignant, and intense, I Am Not Mark Twain is a roller coaster ride of a trek that ultimately freed him to embody the literal essence of his idol, Mark Twain.
Steven Cragg is an alumni member of The Groundlings and has written for Saturday Night Live and MadTV. Credits include the TV series Scrubs, Happy Endings and the tragically conceived and blessedly short lived Man Up.
I AM NOT MARK TWAIN opens August 7th and runs at 8pm Wednesday and Thursdays through August 29, 2013. ROGUE MACHINE is located at 5041 Pico Blvd., LA, CA 90019. Tickets are $20. Reservations: 855-585-5185 or atwww.roguemachinetheatre.com
