Sempra Energy Foundation, Employees Pledge $60,000 To Assist Oklahoma Tornado Victims

SAN DIEGO — The Sempra Energy Foundation and Sempra Energy employees today pledged approximately $60,000 in disaster-relief assistance funds to Oklahoma tornado victims.

The donation includes $25,000 in matching funds from the Sempra Energy Foundation.  The funds will be directed through the American Red Cross National Relief Fund.

“We hope that this donation will provide timely assistance to many of those who were impacted by the devastating tornadoes near Oklahoma City,” said Joseph A. Householder, chairman of the Sempra Energy Foundation.
