Growing up, we’re sure you’ve heard the quotes: “ One must suffer to be beautiful” or “ No pain, no gain”, when getting ready for a special occasion. As you grew older it probably became an instinctive quote that you would repeat to yourself, when you would want to stop waxing halfway or when you didn’t want to stay under the blow dryer during the hot summer days. But as you become an adult you have certainly come to the realization that something else suffers in the process: YOUR POCKETS! Kitchen ingredients can be quick solutions for both our wallets and our beauty routine that unfortunately, never seems to cross our mind! These ingredients can truly make a difference especially if you’re a very busy person that could avoid spending one hour or more doing spa treatments.

First of all you need to remember that water is very essential. In order for you to stay hydrated and healthy, you have to drink 2 liters of water per day. So skip the cocktail and order water instead.

Water with lime juice

These are the easiest ingredients you can find in your kitchen. Recent studies have shown that drinking warm water with lime juice in the morning have tons of health benefits. It helps purify and stimulate the liver; it helps with digestion, lower blood pressure. It can also help your skin if you suffer from acne, apply this solution on your face and it will help you get rid of it. If you do it constantly during the week, you will have a glowing face.

Depending on what you want to do, you can mix it with other ingredients such has olive oil or coconut oil, avocado and honey to give you better skin or better hair results. If you have oily skin, use egg whites as facial mask by applying it directly on the skin. It will make your skin tighter and firmer. If your skin type is the opposite use the egg yolk, it will hydrate and nourish your skin. When adding oils to the mask you end up with a more radiant skin after the treatment.

The egg and avocado mix is more profitable for your hair. You can use it has a mask or as a conditioner. It will help you moisturize and strengthen your hair and it’s also useful if you want your hair to grow in a healthy way.
