The Dia Diaries: RunwayRecap
Rose La Grua
Creamy and dreamy. The Rhode Island School of Design alumna presented her fresh Fall 2015 collection this year at Los Angeles Fashion Week with The Los Angeles Fashion Council in the heartbeat of the city, Downtown Los Angeles. The talented designer stayed true to her brand with bohemian and vintage touches.
Her elegant and whimsical looks for women formed a loose comfortable image merging into more sophisticated looks. The wearable collection ranged from breezy dresses, cropped tops, pleated shorts and high waist skirts to coats with bows and evening gowns.
The ready to wear pieces were constructed out of beige silks, linen, natural fibers, wool, and sugary lace details that kept it feminine and luxurious.
One of the many stand out looks included the stunning all lace shimmery evening gown with a V-neck halter covered with faux fur. The timeless beauty was combined with a bold statement necklace made out of golden metals to keep it up to date.
The models were given a natural glowing look with rosy cheeks, minimalistic eyes and peach lips, which allowed the clothing and accessories to take center stage. The designer matched the lightweight fabrics with heavy golden statement necklaces and (faux) fur clutches to keep it playful and fresh.
Rose La Grua created a feminine masterpiece collection perfect for the LA weather all year around. We bet that more than a few women will be wishing they could get their hands on these designs!
